Mission Our mission is to cultivate and broaden the photographic interests of its members by exposing them to as wide a mix of photographic styles and techniques as possible. This includes the latest in digital cameras, post processing, workflow, and printing technologies, as well as an abundance of photographic wisdom from senior members willing to share their experiences Our club provides an oppportunity for members of all ages to "Share, Learn, & Teach", and for social interaction and friendly competition. Organization Our club's officers consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer and several committee members. Elections for office bearers are held at the General Meeting of the club annually. The 2008 / 2009 Officers are President Frank Giarnese (860)-585-7611 Treasurer Harry Schuh (860) 485-9018 | Club The Canton Camera Club has been serving photography enthusiasts of all ages in the Canton / Collinsville area and neighboring cities since 1953. We are a non-profit organization run by volunteers who all share a love of photography. Our members are mostly “recreational photographers” with a diverse mix of skills and experience. Members have an opportunity to participate in monthly image and print competitions and to take part in quarterly club to club competitions. Our monthly meetings are fun and educational. Images and prints that have been judged are displayed and ribbons are awarded. Select shows are presented at many meetings. During the year the club holds photographic workshops in the field, and digital processing & workflow instructional classes at members homes.
